Trainer Kites - Power kites
The term powerkiting is commonly used to describe kite flying with a kite which is strong enough to pull you out of your shoes. In the early days of powerkite flying, larger delta style kites were used for this purpose.
Nowadays developments in powerkites have come a long way, and powerkiting usually refers to kiting with a bridled foil or; powerkite.

Powerkites come in different types, the most basic is the 2-line foil such as the Peter Lynn VibeII. Two line foils are fun to fly and easy to set-up and are perfect to get to grips with basic kite flying or to get your friends or kids hooked to wind power.
A step up from the 2-line foil would be the trainer kite such as the Impulse TR. Trainer kites are equipped with a bar instead of straps or handles and feature a third line for safety and easy relaunching. Trainer kites are the perfect tool to learn how to control a powerkite on a bar and this is exactly why kite schools all over the world use trainer kites to teach the first steps with.
The next step up would be the 4-line bridled foil, the Peter Lynn Hornet is the perfect example of such an all-round powerkite. It offers you the possibility to get a taste of jumping, buggying, landboarding and snowkiting.

Peter Lynn offers you a wide selection of bridled foils, one by one designed with a specific purpose in mind. From the fun VibeII to the high lift jumping machine Twister IIR and from the high performance freeride Core to the World Champion and World speed record holding thoroughbred buggy racekite; the Peter Lynn Vapor.
