First but not last … on the 11-12-13 of August 2009, we will have the visit of the sales rep of North and Naish coming in Agnes Water with the newbies of 2010 ! Aidan will be here to demonstrate the new gear revealed by Naish and North kite, plenty of demos … hopefully the weather will be with us … Keep in touch in the next few weeks as FONE will also come over here to demonstrate what the french brand has to offer too for the next year models ….

Well guys and gals, another great couple of weeks on the water with the wind in our kites, our usually windless winter has been giving us quite a few bonus days to get out and about.

The 28th July saw us out with Michael for his first time on the strings in light winds but enough for him to achieve level 1 Certification on the Main Beach.

Graeme Tee flew over from New Zealand to have a crack at kitesurfing in a warm environment so he still had tackle at the end of his session and had himself a blast on the 1770 Sandbar in 15-20 knots on a 12m North Rebel & Naish Haze board and the next day Johan Hoff came out for an intense 3hr session in consistent light winds on the main beach, reaching level 1 Certification, body dragging in the surf on a 10m Bandit.

Frederick and Dalila came out with us for a group lesson on the Main Beach on the 8th August, with a non-promising wind turning into a roaring 25knots sou’easter to test their newfound skills and create some excitement.

Kaisa is still with us, kiting at every opportunity, riding both sides and carving through the waves like a true champ…..you go girl……

We have a great event coming up in October as part of the Yeppoon “PINEFEST”. The organisers have put together a “DOWN-WINDER” from Great Keppel Island to Yeppoon, an amazing 23km stretch of water. This event will include ferry transport to the island, an overnight camping stay on great Keppel and of course, the kiteride of the year.
