SECOND HAND KITES OR BRAND NEW KITES ... ??? TIP OF OF THE MONTH !
We do hear a lot recently people wanting to get into kiteboarding that want to buy a cheap second hand kite as they believe they will trash it and it is not worth it buying a brand new kite !!!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG ... If the tuition is well done and in most of cases would not take much more than 3-5 hours lesson ... the most important skill that is kite flying and kite control, should for sure be mastered ... in that case there is no way you will trash your kite ... meaning that it is the opposite people and future kiteboarder should think ... get some GOOD lessons, learn properly how to fly the kite with school material (wont have to pay if you trash it !!) and you should be ready to get a new kite which you wont trash and get the pleasure to fly a good & new technology kite rather than getting some bad habit on an old crusty kite !!

NEW INSTRUCTORS TO COME AND HELP !
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Andi L2 Kitesurf instructor in town, he will help us with tuition as well as tour organization, downwinders. Andi is a real experienced kiteboarder and teacher, that we are delighted to welcome in our team so we can teach more people in lots of different locations. Luke will come back as well for teaching in the busy time of the season ... great to have him back !

"I am a civil engineer surveyor by day when the wind blows I am a kiter.
Have been kitesurfing for over 10 years started on a 2 line Wipika Free Air and a surfboard. Qualified as a BKSA/IKO level2 instructor in 2002. Have been teaching in the UK, Cape Town and Adelaide. If it uses wind and you attach a string to it I fly it.
Kite surfing happy on twin tips, strapped and unstrapped surfboards, skim boards even SUPs Buggys and landboards with foil kites Snow kiting with LEI, Peter Lynns and foil kites. I also fly a range of 2 and 4 line stunt kites and one line lifter kites for aerial photography.
I have recently moved up from Adelaide where I was working for the Kiteshop. selling, making and fixing all kite related things and teaching Kitesurfing and buggying.
I have a long suffering/understanding partner who doesn't really expect me home early when the wind is blowing, my daughter 2 yrs old hasn't complained yet! "

We are really proud of Troy Fabricato who started his lessons 8 months ago and now is an addicted L3 certified kiteboarder ... it is so good to see how fast he has progressed and how much he enjoyed the practice of that fantastic sport ... good on you troy ... well done !
